The internet keeps saying it’s the most terrifying thing to go around this weekend.
A warning that some viewers may find the R-rated trailer disturbing.
Over the last few days, the trailer for this movie – Goodnight Mommy (or Ich Seh, Ich Seh, if you prefer the original title) – has been making the rounds on social media. While it’s not a new movie, this film is getting a release in the US on September 11th (no word yet if we’ll see it in Canadian theatres).
The story follows nine year old twins Elias and Lukas, whose model mother comes home after undergoing plastic surgery. When they notice changes in their mother’s behaviour, they start to question whether or not she’s even their mom.
At first blush, it does appear – on social media – to be the scariest thing as is claimed by a number of reviewers.
The trailer for the new film Goodnight Mommy has been dubbed ‘the scariest trailer ever made’. http://t.co/Lg3h4SybMm pic.twitter.com/grkTTLeHEs
